those are real bayonets on the end of them rifles.

If you ever get a chance to see the USMC Rifle Drill Team, do it.
8th & I Streets. HQ USMC.
Washington, D.C.

Makes me want to get out the ol' 14 and toss her around a bit, sans bayonet of course.
For the first ten minutes!

I got to see the USMC Rifle Drill Team when I went to D.C. for my eight grade class trip. Amazing doesn't quite explain what they do during the show. To top it off, it started to rain hard but they didn't miss a beat. 8-)


BTW, you mentioned a M14, they use M1 Garands ;)

But I'm not going to toss MY Garand around, she's too pretty, the 14 can take a drop or two and still be dead on at 500yrds.
