I know this post is late. I just got registered. I tried two colors out last weekend and I was on fire! We were fishing at 180ft and I had the gold color (5 1/20z) on. The rock fish loved it!
All was going well until I hooked up a large one and handed the rod over to my 7yr old son. Big man got tierd and well... Rod and fish got away.....
I hooked up my back up rig with the red one (5 1/2oz) and wouldnt you know it... I was on fire again and forgot about the lost rig. At one point I was daring and tried it out in the rocks. I wound up with 2 keeper sculpin on the same jig.
The jig realy caught thier eye, and with a strip of squid it drove them crazy. :cool:
