Finally got a line wet for the first time in 08. Was down in Irvine visiting my lady friend. we decided to take advantage of the good morning weather and went fishing. Went to a small beach in laguna just south of crystal cove to try our luck. got there with the incoming tide...sweet. lots of decent structure as the high tide was creating about 3 mini-rip tides. I ended up with about 12, all about palm size with one slab about 12 inches long, she ended up with about 8-9 to about 10 inches. just glad to finally get my line wet.
