Tried to fish the surf today with no luck. I couldn't keep anything out. She tossed the heaviest weights in my kit back out in seconds. I decided to move up the beach to the comfort of the jettys. It at least appeared like I was fishing in the protected south sides of the rocks but, in the end, I took home the big stinker. Fishing the harbor tonight. Is anyone else gonna be out there?

Good try DiskoCrisco. Sorry for the skunk. Yeah they are prdicting some ugy swells this weekend, esp Sunday. I was thinking of seeing what the beach looked like tomorrow and if it didn't look good to me I'll hit the harbor. I probably should hit the harbor. Been fighting off some cold the past 2 weeks. Somehow I don't think getting in the cold water is gonna help me much. I might see you out there thembastards.

I may brave the swells & give it a try tomorrow.
