Launched out of Huntington Harbor today to go fish for some bass .Started off at the shoe for a nice grade of Sand Bass on the Pearl swimmies with grunion and T-Rex colors getting the nod :banana:

caught about a dozen of those rascals then continued on,water was cold but clean.Managed a couple of calicos in between the sandys 8) .Nice big swell, and went and did some surfing off bolsa in the putty tub :titanic: ,man must have been some 10 foot faces :shock: .Decided to try and see if we could pull out a spotty out of Huntington Harbor for the trifecta,but this thing got in the way,ate the blade,on the 1st crank

ended up weighing 19# yummy!

"Ate the blade on the first crank"= spinnerbait.I love it when you catch the unexpected. :D The minute I realized it was not a spotty but something large,I thought to myself thank god I have her on 55#braid with the 20# flouro leader.That would have been a tuff one on the standard bass gear.
