Lake Lopez Feb 16

Took my kids out for a rental boat day on the lake. I had been given a new fish finder for Christmas and this was the first chance we had to use it. Water temp was 49 at 7:30... the air temp was 29... the water seemed pretty warm in comparison. Most of the fish were down 60 - 120 feet... We used lead core most of the day trolling for trout and came up with nothing. I also threw some crank baits and drop shotted some plastics closer to shore when something would show up on the finder... all for nada... oh well, the kids eventually warmed up and had a great time giving tour guides to their invisible friends and renaming several parts of the lake while I fished.
