Has anyone surf fished Santa Barbara recently or in the past? Just wanted to know if there is a good spot to surf fish there.

Used to surf fish here and there when I was at school in SB in the early-90s. The Rincon (Hwy 1) east of SB, to Carpenteria, was a producing area, not to mention a very picturesque place to fish. There are a few secluded beaches in between Montecito and Summerland that also were great producers. The Goleta Beach/Pier area is also a good place to fish and to girlwatch. :D :wink:
From what I remember anyway....
