Owen's River Report & Pics.

Left Mammoth early Sunday to fish the Owen's below PVR. Fished form sun up to sundown. It was great, I havn't done that in forever. I also fished PVR for a bout an hour and caught three stockers (no pics). Overall it was a solid day. I think total fish count was around 14. Most of the fish were caught between 7 Am and 10 Am. After that it was slow. about a fish an hour. All fish were caught on Yozuri pn minnows (Rainbow color) or CD2 Rapalas (brn trout color) All barbless. didn't get the big one I've been wanting but I still have tuesday. Enjoy the pics.

A rainbow in this area is somewhat rare caught two in same spot. This one was about 16".

Nice Browns! Those pics get my heart all started up, make me want to throw the futon in the back of the truck and head north. Too many irons in the fire for another week or so.

Those are some great pics! I've been travelling that area since I was very young and I never get tired of seeing it. If I can't get there myself, second best is to see it through a FNNer's camera. Nice job dude!
