Seal Beach Pier Report

Hey all went down to seal beach pier yesterday to try my luck. First off didn't get there till 2 or so i didn't think i was going to catch much. So there i am with my girlfriend and i setup my pole with a mack pattern kroc just to see if the bonitas were around but no luck. Setup a sabiki for my girlfriend so she could get me some live bait but guess what no luck. had to leave around 3:45 to go pick her car up. Waters are still to cold at seal. Happy to report my dad was there also and caught a shovel nose and a ray.

We caught nothin' there but a couple of huge crabs! I threw all kinds of stuff at 'em off the end of the pier. Saw a guy with the sabiki and nada as well. Glad to hear your dad hooked into something!
