Had the distinct honor and privilege of kayak fishing with TEAM NBU today.
Headed out from the beach with Funjunkie and MMIN (YMIN72)

Shortly after launch met up with Lokey and Paintnfish.
Finally nice to meet you 2.
Went our separate ways and fished inside the breakwall along the kelp line.

Later on met BabyKiller.

Great day to be on the water.
We all landed fish and everyone we talked to had some too

Me and Funkjunkie with Barred Sandbass,
although his was of legal size
and
MMIN (YMIN72) with Brillo-Butt

I also had a lobster off of the New Penny Shrimp which
I was able to bring to color
But released once it broke the surface of the water,
woulda been kewl for pic before I tossed em back

Off the water @ 130
While we were loading up Loquespub came over and introduced himself

It was great meeting everybody especially TEAM NBU

Nice fish! Everyone caught something 8)
I have to try the pontoon in the salt one of these days! I'll probably wait for it to warm up a bit first though.

:lol: Thanks for putting up my pic also Mike. Too bad Joe released his sandie before you had a chance to take his pic.

I went back out with Walter(fleaflicker) on his skiff today trying to figure out where they were hiding out before the tourney next week. Almost the same result(zero legal halis, 3 sandbass and 1 calico). I guess we're gonna need to put in some more effort to find them.

I had fun chatting and fishing with you yesterday Mike. See you next week.

Nice work Mike, you should try next to the break wall and pier and work your way up.

Sounds like I missed a great trip. Thanks for the invite ymin72, I couldn't make it because I had a trip planned for Vegas. Hopefully you guys invite me next time you go out.

Definately npdes. I hope you did well in Vegas.
We're gonna enter the baytubers tourney this coming saturday. It would be great if you can join us this saturday and help out the group (all 4 of us). If not, we dont have anything planned for next couple of weeks but Im sure were gonna be fishing somewhere from our yaks.
We know its a far drive from where your at but it would be nice to have another kayaker join us on our adventures. We always try to have fun and enjoy everyone's company. Like the saying goes, everyone is a friend of a friend.
