Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have any suggestions for Mission Bay down in San Diego? I will be camping for a few days next week and have a couple of days to spend on the water. I have a sevylor inflatable that is legally outfitted and would like to target the three types of bass and halibut. Went down to camping world last week and picked up a couple megabass visions and some gulp jerkshad. I have been only in the bay once before and caught a few spotties on the gulp jerkshad. Have never fished with the megabass in the boat before and would like some tips. I know that the eel grass in some parts of the bay are super thick and was wondering if the megabass might dive too deep and get caught. Don't want to risk such an expensive lure. Also, wanted to know if the gulp shrimp would work. I know that in San Diego Bay, 3in gulp shrimp are key and in Mission Bay the locals swear by the Berkley Frenzy. What to Do?
