Im thinking of getting one of these but are they water proof and if not is there anything to worry about? http://store.humminbird.com/csonar-csonarPiranha.html (tm65 dont click! it takes some time to load  )
also i could use some info on mounting on float tubes.

I sure you could set up something for one of those fishfinder.
But if you want something a little easier you can check these out.

Even though its not waterproof, it should be water resistant which should be just find. The only thing I would worry about if I were you is if your tube sprung a leak and hopefully that will never happen.

I believe most (if not all) fishfinders are waterproof. Bassguy's got a Piranha mounted on his float tube and it works really well for him. Since the Piranha required too much space to mount on my FC4, I had to just buy a regular fishfinder and custom make a mount for my float tube out of PVC. Here's how I have the FC4 rigged.

Nope, no Perris today Z. I had my son home with me today with a cough. Didn't want to risk him getting any sicker just so I can play a few hours on the dam. Hope they're slaying 'em out there.
