Went tubing Lake Quyamaca this weekend. Cold and windy to say the least not to mention the water was freezing. Stuck my hands in the water once and my hands were frozen the rest of the day. What, if any type of glove does anybody recommend to keep your hands dry and fit well for tubing during the winter months?
Thanks

I use Simms and like then a lot. They don't soak up water.

BPS carries the Glacier Glove line.

Even fingerless wool gloves make a difference.

Go to REI and get Seal Skinz gloves. There 100% water proof and really warm.

I'd go with the Glacier Gloves. I've had my pair which I got thru Cabelas for over 12 years and are still in great shape. Having your thumb and index finger tips readily exposable is the key, for tying knots and so forth, instead of having full finger gloves or all half finger gloves which you either have to take off the glove or still have wet finger tips which can get numb after a while. Just my experience and :2cents: worth.

Got some glacier gloves yesterday! They have them at BPS. These things rule! I Think they were only like $12.
don't know how I ever went fishing in cold weather without them! They are very thin and make it easy to get in my pockets with them. They'll also keep my last three fingers warm, which are the ones that usually go numb first..

Thanks for the recommendations Flying
