New Del Mar 1/12/08, no pics

Finally had time to go fishing cuz I've been working like crazy. Went on the Twilight boat out of Marina Del Rey with the girlfriend. Fishing was steady with the boat catching some sculpin and 60+ sand bass up to 5 lbs. I caught a 1.5 lb calico and a 14" sand bass drop shotting tube baits with 8lb. test with my sedona/crucial combo just to mess around. Then brought out my sx/calcutta combo. Most fish caught on a 1-2oz leadhead with squid.

Final count for me: 8 sandies to 3lbs. and 4 scullies
Final count for gf: 5 sandies and 2 scullies

Not bad for winter bassin.
