I noticed that BPS has the outcast over boot fins for 31.00 but I normally just wear water socks will the fins still work or will they be too loose. My current fins include one pair of US diver snorkle fins and one pair of Caddis float tube fins. I do not like the Caddis fins because they loosen up too much and the US Divers do not fit over my water shoes. In short how are the outcast fins and must they be worn over boots?

I would not get them because they would be to loose. If anything try to find some fins that you slide you foot into and that has a strap at the heel.

HotSpots are the best.

I've tried several types of fins, and the best has been standard fins with a heel strap. Jsut be sure to try them on first with your waders for proper size. You don't want them loose and kicking off in the water. Trying to put them back on in the water is next to impossible. -Boz

I went with this pair from Bass Pro Shops, and added tohe booties over my waders, and have had great success. Good Luck!

Fins: Classic Float Tube Fins ( I didn't find them on the website, but they are in the fly fishing dept.

I got those for my first pair of flippers. They have worked great. Especially for only 20 bucks. Haven't had them slip off yet, and they seem to propel me perfectly in both my tube and my pontoon.
