pontooning piru/casitas

has anyone tooned either lake? what's it like. worth trying? and how about miramar in san diego? i need a new place....just anything but santa ana or corona.

Never tried to toon Piru or Casitas, but Silverwood is good and Perris is a good one as well. If you like to drive the Castaic Lagoon is supposed to be pretty good as well. Good luck and tell us how it went.

I dont think you can tube casitas, no body contact with the water.

you can pontoon casitas ,but it gets windy.piru you can only stay in one area , and i think with the water so low the area is dry.

HEY NOW, i've tooned Castaic lagoon and its great as long as the winds don't get bad, the upper lake can only be tooned if you have it registered with a trolling motor or small gas motor. i have not tooned Piru yet but, i think its the same a castaic upper you must be reg. ? PM me if your hitting the goon, i can maybe meet you sometime and fish .

I actually want to try the goon as I haven't with my toon. But I fear all the trout were ate by the bass!
