New Years Eve on the SPITFIRE!!

Beautiful new years eve on the water today on the Spitfire. Weather was awesome. Craig was in the wheelhouse with Bobby solo on the deck, Couldnt get the bass to bite but Craig put us on some good shallow water stones to fill the sacks with da cod. Live squid or cut bait was gettin most of the bites, but the GULP was killing it. Found a pack of demo 4in pearl color shrimp. Me and my cousin used the same two baits all day with a couple fish on the calamari. Reverse dropper loop, 3oz sinker, nose hook the gulp stink bait. Good pick on the cod and some nice goats were comin over the rail. Good way to end the year and the last day of rockfish season.

BTW - The Spitfire was awesome as usual. Craig works for the fish and Bobbys got the hussle and good attitude keeping everyone happy.

07 was great, cant wait for 08. Happy New Years guys!

Thanks for the report man...i was sooooooo close to going this morning....ask oz, we were up at 2 am in the chatroom.....but, i decided to go to work instead.....ill probably hit the spit this weekend....peace.......
