Near the end of the day i threw a Parachute Adam's and caught a nice 3lbs brown! No picture tho because he flopped right as i was going to take it!!!

End of day 2

DAY 3, now with out Mark, Greg and i set off, we meet mark at the water say hi to him and his clients and set of all alone!

Greg Throwing a Roll!

Gregs BEAST i'd say about 3-4 or maybe bigger. [cant tell from pic, its hard to take them when your hands are freezing!]

http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p20/good1235/PB230530.jpg

I Decided to throw dry fly's after i caught about 5 on nymphs, for you know, high octane fun!
Caught about 3 on the Dry, until i was looking away and i saw a splash and this beast was on my line!

http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p20/good1235/PB240534.jpg

Caught him on a Royal Wulf! We noticed fish going after our strike indicators the day earlier so I put a big obnoxious attractor pattern on and it worked!

Overall i had a wonderful time, i love it up there! I had a great time learning technique's from Mark. I especially loved the 25+ fish days! I now love Flyfishing more than ever!

Great post. I am green with envy!

Is it just me, or does britheguy seem to have the hands of a fifty-year-old man in some of the pictures?

Also, britheguy, suckers are a part of what is sometimes called an "eco-system" and have been since the dawn of time. If they were any danger to trout there wouldn't be any trout around anymore (and if you examined the mouth of a sucker you would discover the main reason for this.) Also, as you may remember from grade school, an "eco-system" is comprised of inter-dependant organisms - erradicate one type of organism and what happens?

Yeah City Dad i didn't know if they were native or not thats the thing, i didn't kill any though! Hahah and those were Marks hands, lol, thats what happens when your hands are in 30 degree water with 20 degree air for a long time. Hahha thanks for the school lesson i learned a lot!

Thanks for the report Bri! :thumb: I'm glad you were able to get away and spend some quality time doing what you really enjoy. Nice job on the Sacramento sucker you caught! They do put up a good fight don't they?! My daughter just recently caught one and it gave her quite a thrill with the reel going ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ and all!
