Opinions on Cadis Navigator II

I am getting ready to purchase a new tube. Have been out of tube fishing for 15+ years.

A buddy recommends the Caddis Navigator II. Big-5 has it on sale now for $110 which seems like a good deal.

Main use will be trout and bass in lakes.

I am a big guys (about 300 pounds) and this is rated at 350# so I should be ok.

Also looking ofr suggestions on waders for use in the Eastern Sierras.

damn, $80 bucks......you scored dude! I was looking on ebay for a while and couldnt find one. I bought mine for $100, which is still good.

Any recommendations for waders? Turners has some on sale for $29 right now, but that seems cheap for neoprene.

peter - I have the Hodgman Neoprene waders, I got them at Sports Authority for about $80 bucks. The breathable waders are about $110.

wahts up fellas, i picked myself up a caddis nav II this morning...thanks peter for the heads up on that sale!

hopefully in about 2 weeks ill get to join you guys out there...im goin to vegas next weekend and planning to pick up some waders out there at BPS, and then get some hotspots either at turners or if i can get in touch with fat albert, see what kinda magic he can do.

and tony, i wont jack your style with the baby seal fins....all that joking kinda scared me away! hahah

Hey All,

Just picked up my Caddis II tonight at my local Big 5. Got the last one they had.

Seems like a steal @ $110.

I wont be able to try it off for a few weeks, but I may take a spin in my sisters pool to make sure it is all set-up right.

I am heading to the Eastern Sierra (June Lake) in late July and look forward to using it there.
