Large Zuma Perch

Went out to Zuma to hit the high tide yesterday at noon. Tide came up, but the fish didn't. Managed one strike on the LC and pulled out this nice perch. Weighed in at 3lb 3 oz. Largest perch I've caught in many years. Another angler was out there and said he did well in the morning low tide. Conditions were perfect, but the fish weren't around like they usually are at Zuma.

Zuma beach sure kicks out some nice fish...wtg. My best perch came just North of Zuma a few years back. Thanks for posting the pic and welcome!

Thanks for the props guys. Gonna head back on out to Zuma this Sunday morning to hit the early am high tide. Should be some quality fishing the day before the full moon. See you guys out there.
