Hello,

What is the proper way to prepare live lobster and crab for later use. I will be needing to keep the bugs for about a week. Should I kill them and freeze, or try to keep them alive??????

What's the best way to kill them for freezing?

Should they be pared prior to freezing, or frozen whole?

Newbie hooping questions for sure.....I know cats, not bugs!

Thanks all!

This might help on cleaning bugs. It was made by Randy, over on Catalina.

I forgot to answer your first couple of questions. Clean the bugs like you see Randy doing in his post. Make sure you clean out the intestinal track like he does in the clip. That stuff can make you sick. I've heard that the best way to freeze the tails is in a baggy full of water or in a milk carton full of water. I don't know, they never last that long at my house.
