I've tried it in the surf and didn't have any success. I didn't really give too much time i guess. It's a little too light to cast though.
If you do get it, make sure you get the saltwater version. I'd save up a few extra bucks and buy the lucky craft. 100x better.

Excellent for Stripers and also good for Bass.

ive caught legal halibut from the surf on it
but, in all honesty, im not sure about the consistency of this bait, especially in really clear water

Get it really far out there and jerk and pause all the way in.
