Since I still have a lot of fish left over from Alaska, it's time to start cooking it since the oven is fixed at home!

So tonight is Apple Spced Halibut with wilrd rice and mushrooms! :thumb:

It's my first time trying this way but here is the recipe for anyone who wants to try it. I'll have some pictures of it up tonight.

Apple Spiced Halibut Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

8-12 oz. Halibut Fillets
1 Green Onion, diced
1/4 cup Apple Jelly
1 tbsp. Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp. Allspice
3 tbsp. Almonds, Sliced/slivers
2 tbsp. Butter

Recipe Preparation:

Cut halibut into serving size portions. Heat apple jelly in a small saucepan, add lemon juice and allspice; stir. Brush glaze over halibut pieces and place in a lightly greased baking dish. Pour any remaining glaze over top of fillets. Add butter to dish. Sprinkle green onion and almonds over fillets. Cover and bake in a preheated 325 degree oven (10 minutes for every 1 inch of thickness). Periodically spoon glaze over fillets during baking.
