All fish caught on live sand shrimp in the willamette river in about 80 feet of water. The first and last fish jumped once its pretty cool to see them jump. These are small ones I lost one that starightend a 4/0 hook almost pulled me over the side of the boat.

Very nice!

Kinda puts the ones we have in our SoCal pay lakes to shame! ha ha!!

Nice Report... I'm assuming these are natural and not stocked fish??

Yeah and they go to ocean and back to spawn. These are moving in from Colombia river cause the willamette is warmer then colmobia.

Thanks everyone and Merry Xmas to you all. Hey Stephen probably won't be down anytime soon. I wish we had stripers up here. Theres some in the Umqua river but they havn't had any decent runs in years for what Im told any ways. There all the smallies you want up here but havnt fished for any bass in long time been fishing sturgeon salmon and stealhead.
