ouch! sorry to hear about your window and glad to hear no one was harmed...

I've seen a truck towing two jet skis and the guy hit a small dip on road and the trailer bounced down across the street and hit the light pole in front of a gas station...

Don't forget the safety cable/chain on the trailer also!

HUH!.......Thats weird. Didnt the bow roller hold the boat back?
Maybe slaming that bump. When the backend off the tow vehicle dropped, that caused the front off the boat to hit the window.
Ive seen that happen before when the tow vehicle went up a steep driveway, The bow hit the back of the truck

I am trying to figure out how to secure a bow strap to the bow eye that attaches to the winch somehow just in case the winch strap breaks. Would hate to see my boat pass me in another lane.

i seen a guy on the 91 with this same problem except it hit his furniture on the back of his truck. looked like the old lady kicked him out had all his stuff packed and was hauling his boat. after that i run a safety strap to the loop down to my trailer frame, just in case
