Does anybody have any tricks to getting the foam padding into the seats on the the fish cat 4, because I am having a lot of trouble getting them in. I was thinking of shaving a bit off around the sides to help it fit, is that a bad idea?

1/2" of one side corner of the cushion in the pocket first, then the other side corner in 1/2" or so. Then push the foam in while holding the "front" point of the boat.
You'll get it down after a bit.

Don't shave the foam. I just got my fish cat last week and it was pain to put it in but just take your time. 1/2 inch at a time.
