View Full Version : Caddis nevada pole holder-finally done!- [with pics!]

so i bought the pvc pipes this week and put it together in acouple of hours
i think i did a little too much cause for one its pretty heavy
and two, since its only one side im afraid its gonna create a weight inbalance?
i don't know i just finished it yesterday let me know what you think

thats her,
two extra pole holders and one main pole holder
along with a holder for my net/or another pole or whatever else can be put in their
it weighs a good 15-20 lbs

thats just up against my float not installed yet still need some more parts

sorry for the bad pictures my camera phone doesn't have that many mega pixels and the light was bad aswell

Are you saying your rod holder weighs 15 to 20 lbs? Or your entire setup including the tube and equipment?

JUST the pole holder i had set up
i had way too many tubes that i didn't need.
but i stopped being ignorant and just removed the ones i didn't need
so i just have the essentials

and i thought it'd be a good idea if i left the bottom of the T elbows open so water can get in and it'll be lighter in the water
instead of floating on top it'll just submerge somewhat
but not enough to get anything on mypoles


and now it just weighs a good 10lbs

and no no led LOL
pvc pipe weighs more then you'd think
most pole holders have maybe three long pieces and three cross elbows
mine is all pvc and pretty large
thats why it weighs so much.
