BlackMav04 took me out on his boat today, first stop the Horseshoe Kelp. Light fog and overcast with a decent swell that seemed bigger than the 1-2 footer forecasted. BlackMav hooked up the first fish, a 7ft. Blue shark on a live anchovy, released. At the same time the fish was on, we kept hearing whales coming up for air, and a pod of at least 100 dolphins passed by us. We finally got a glimpse of a huge whale about 200 yds. from us. What a sight!
